When she walked into my favorite cafe
Lost between a class in Muskogee and a party in Jay
She had a copy of the book I was reading
Proof that our love was fate
I didn't get her name or number but I did get a date

The computers are groovy you can check out a movie
And it's never gonna cost a dime

How could I not say yes?
I wouldn’t miss a chance to start a new romance

I waited by the door to greet her
She never did show her face
So I asked at Information, was I in the right place?
Well I had found the right library system
But the lady had news for me
There were fourteen other locations where my love might be

But what were the chances there’d be fifteen branches

I’ll hit these cities and find my love
So we can do the thing I’ve been dreaming of
Parking in a hot spot, Saturday night
Downloading e-books from the library website

I attended a talk in Haskell
Then I hit the highway and drove
I joined writer’s group in Warner and a book club in Grove
I’ve got my library card to guide me
And true love revving my gears
Checked out enough audio books to keep me searching for years!
